Domaine Henri Bourgeois goes organic and presents its new labels

By 21 March 2024No Comments

Since 1696, the Bourgeois family has worked the vines and soils of Sancerre, building up an exceptional know-how and a winemaking heritage spanning more than 10 generations. The Domaine Henri Bourgeois, established in Chavignol around the founding figure of Henri Bourgeois – grandfather of the estate’s current directors – has contributed to the worldwide renown of the Sancerre appellation through the success of its wines. Today, Domaine Henri Bourgeois is giving itself a new logo and new labels, and at the same time reaffirming its values of tradition, precision and love of terroir.

Present in Chavignol for several decades, the Bourgeois family has passed on its age-old winemaking know-how from generation to generation, perpetuating its unique style and its mission to enhance the terroirs of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. As the culmination of this philosophy of working in perfect harmony with nature, the 2023 vintage concludes the organic conversion process initiated several years ago for the entire Famille Bourgeois vineyard. 2023 will therefore be the first 100% organic vintage for Domaine Henri Bourgeois.

For us, organic certification of Domaine Henri Bourgeois is the logical and necessary next step in our family’s historic commitment to protecting nature and biodiversity. – Arnaud Bourgeois, General Manager

To mark the occasion of this certification, Domaine Henri Bourgeois decided to rework the labels of its wine range to reaffirm the values that have made it such a success: respect for tradition, a quest for precision and a genuine passion for its terroirs.
