Come and discover the richness and diversity of our wines from the different terroirs of our region. An oenological and sensory experience to share in a timeless place dedicated to the discovery of our wines.
Our team at the Tasting and Sales Area team welcomes and advises you all year round in Chavignol:
Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm;
Sundays from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
Wine tastings are complimentary and accessible without prior appointment during opening hours. Reservations are recommended for 6 people and above.
Guided tour
During this guided tour, you will discover our cellars built on both sides of the main street of our charming village of Chavignol. You will learn all about the history of the Famille Bourgeois, its vineyards, the methods of vinification and maturation of the wines.
You will also discover the main characteristics and singularities of the vineyards of Sancerre and Pouilly-fumé which make this wine region unique.
This will be followed by a guided tasting of wines from the main terroirs of the region, accompanied by the famous Crottin de Chavignol.
Languages spoken: French/English.
Duration: 45 min. guided tour + 45 min. commented tasting.
Departures Monday to Friday at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm and Saturdays only at 10:00 am.
From April 1st to October 31st. Reservation required.
